• Whose birthday it was?

It has become strenuous to relish family and social life in this hard-pressed life, despite investing best efforts. Still, whatever time I can spare, I ensure that I make the most out of it by connecting with people. So, lately, I attended a school friend’s birthday party.

• Who attended the party?

It was more of a reunion than merely a birthday party if I put it realistically. In fact, I had received a little note from the birthday boy, describing how everybody in our group decided upon meeting on his birthday. So, accordingly, there had to be ten people. However, the number changed to 15 as some of the acquaintances also joined.

• Where did it take place?
• And describe the party.

So, this birthday party was organized at the residence of another friend who lives in a colossal house with his family. The atmosphere at the party was friendly, warm, and emotional. A lot of snacks and drinks were arranged according to everybody’s choices and preferences. One of the best things about this party was that the birthday boy had a surprise for us. He had picked out pictures from our school days, created a slideshow out of it, and played it on a large screen. And then, he gave a full 30-minute-long speech, reminiscing all the good old days. All in all, the party was a blast, and we ended it on a good note with a scrumptious dinner.

• Whose birthday it was?

I have attended so many birthday parties, but the one I remember the best is my grandfather’s birthday when he turned 80. That celebration is one of the best memories I can keep about him.

• Who attended the party?

To people in our country, 80 years old is a special milestone in everyone’s life as the old people are respected for their experience and wisdom. Thus, in the 80^th birthday celebration, people often hold a big and extremely memorable party, inviting a lot of people to attend. Among the invitees, there were a lot of our relatives, neighbors, friends, and local authorities.

• Where did it take place?

My grandfather’s 80^th birthday celebration took place at a convention near his house. It was such a quality time for my whole family and all our beloved relatives and friends to sit together. Everyone tried to choose a special gift for my grandpa. I was a little bit astonished when I saw the number of gifts my grandpa received, which meant how much my grandpa was loved. People also sent greetings to him, which are mostly about health. Then, people enjoyed the party with delicious and well-prepared food.

• And describe the party.

However, the most lovely part of the celebration was the time after the party. When all of the invitees had left, our family gathered together and took a trip down memory lane. It reminded me of the good old days when I was knee-high to a grasshopper and still a little stubborn girl who always got into trouble. No matter how big a problem I got into, I could always ask my grandpa for helps or advice as he would never turn his back on me.

Time flies so fast, but the memory still lasts. Grandpa and his 80^th birthday celebration would definitely be one of my sweetest memories.
