Describe a Photograph That You Remember.
You may say
- What is the photo
- What incident happened in that photo
- Why is that photo remembered by me
Sample Answer 1
There are lots of photos that linger in my mind. Photos are taken to store memories. Sometimes we create albums as hard copy and soft copy. The photograph that I recall till now is my sister’s wedding photograph. There is one photograph where I am dancing with my sis on her sangeet.

On the day of Sangeet, we were enjoying and drawing mehndi in our hands. My elder brother gave me an idea to play damsharas for enjoyment. So we were playing with our bride, and her hand was full of mehndi. There were eight pairs of teams, and I was playing with my sis. When our turn came, my sis was hesitant to dance and play damsharas. But after many arguments, she agreed to dance with me. The moment was indelible and remarkable for me.
She used to stay in New York after class 8, so we were separated for many years. And we didn’t get a chance in childhood to dance and sing together. After many years we swayed and were filled with emotions on her Sangeet. That photograph was touching and mind refreshing. Whenever I feel off-minded and depressed I see that photograph with my beautiful sis. It removes all my depression. That photograph is a testimony to the times we spend together. At her wedding, there were many photographs but the photograph with my sis was more memorable than any other.

Sample Answer 2
Throughout our lives, we make different types of memories and build up our experiences. A photograph is one of the most vital mediums that immortalizes and enlivens those special moments. Being an introvert, I mostly like to be behind the camera and so, today, I will share about one of those rarest photos that were clicked on the last day of our school life with our then class teacher.
The day is still ingrained in my memory. I went to school for one last time with a heavy heart. After spending time with our teachers, one by one, we engaged in writing memorable things in each other’s diaries or school shirts. A farewell surprise was put together by our juniors, which was really amazing. At the end of all these events that the whole batch participated in, the school authorities took a group picture to commemorate that day. Later, when I visited the school to collect my final board results, I was given a framed copy of that snapshot.
Everyone has been through the myriad of emotions that engulf one on the last day of school or college life when they have to leave behind the bonds created through a long span of time. As a result, that group photo, which I have preserved carefully, reminds me of the wonderful time that I have spent with my friends, teachers and others during those thirteen years.
