Most of us have a dream of starting our own business one day. Who doesn’t like the idea of becoming one’s boss? This is going to be an interesting topic for you if you have ever planned to start your own business in the future. The examiner may ask you about your ideas and strategy about starting a new business, and who knows, you might end up getting suggestions from their side as well. You need to sound extremely intrigued and inventive while talking. Utilize your creative mind and stir it up with some great vocabulary. This mix will assist you with scoring an 8 or more.
Here are some business-related terms that will help you:
Cold-call | to make a sales call to someone without asking them for permission first |
Winning contracts | when a business gets legally binding work with an individual or company |
Self-employed | to work for yourself/to not work for an employer |
To go bust | when a business is forced to close because it is unsuccessful |
Stiff competition | strong competition from other companies in the same area of work |
Business is not a cakewalk for everyone. It requires a lot of personal skills and practical knowledge. You may also be asked to describe any successful businessmen you might know. Now, this part is a little tricky. It is better to choose someone whom you personally know or about any other businessmen whom you adore so that you’ll have more to speak. You can tell the story of their success and how you are inspired by them. The tip here is to establish a hopeful vibe.
