• Where it is

In my country, India, there are many attractive places, including monuments, beaches, and historical sites. Nonetheless, I’d like to talk about Agra, near the capital city of Delhi. It is a fascinating historical place and attracts most tourists because of one of the most flawless architectural creations in the world.

• How you got to know about it

During my graduation, our college organized an Agra tour, and if I can recall, it was in October 2013 when I saw it for the first time. Many classmates, like me, had a chance to see Tajmahal for the first time. Before going there, I had only read about it in History books. So when I saw this alluring memorial, I was captivated by its design and the white marble material used to build it.

• What is it famous for?, and
• Explain why you think it is interesting

The city is well-known for numerous reasons. The most significant one is that it houses one of the world’s seven wonders, Tajmahal, which is considered the symbol of love as it was built in the memory of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan’s beloved wife, Mumtaz. Therefore, several young couples and married people go there to have a successful life. Having a sweet tooth, I also relished the mouthwatering sweets that the city is famous for when we visited one of the popular markets, Sadar Bazar, near the Agra railway station and the Taj Mahal. Some of us also bought souvenirs to remember this memorable trip.

To conclude, I can say that this place is the most attractive I have ever seen. It will always be etched in my mind until I visit it again.

I’m going to talk about ABC, a mountainous town that is very well-known in my country. It takes about six to seven hours by train to get to ABC from my city. You can also go by bus which would take a bit longer.

• How you got to know about it

ABC is a popular tourist destination because of its climate; the weather is always cool there due to the high altitude. People from across Vietnam come here to escape summer heat or enjoy the sight of snow in winter.

• What is it famous for?, and

This small town is also famous for the ethnic minority people that live here. You can often see these people go around the town selling products and services to foreigners.

• Explain why you think it is interesting

If you feel adventurous, you can go on a 2-day trip to get to the highest summit in my country – known as XYZ. This requires a certain level of fitness, and even if you have prepared yourself, you would still need to hire porters to carry basic supplies along the way. Standing on the mountain top overlooking the whole region is an experience not to be missed!
