Childhood is a phase where people get beguiled and fascinated by a lot of things and getting awed by a person, specifically, adults, is one of the most common matters. One person that I was very impressed with was Mr Jagveer, as he had all the virtues a gentle and nobleman should have. He was very ethical and he used to inspire all of us kids back then.

He was our class teacher in class three and was our Mathematics teacher in class fourth and fifth consecutively. One quality from an academic purview that used to strike awe in all of us was his ability and nimbleness while performing mathematics calculations. He was extremely diligent towards his field of studies and left no stone unturned in teaching us in the best possible way. To this date, I remember all of his basics and formulae classes with tips and tricks so vividly as though it’s a matter of a few weeks ago.

Apart from being a adept teacher, he used to be one person whom all of the students used to rush to in order to get the childhood quandary and conundrums resolved. The bonding he had with us was more profound than any other teacher at our school. Moreover, his equations with other teachers and staff of our school were yet another commendable thing about him.

Not only did he treat everyone so respectfully, but he also ensured that we respect everyone regardless of one’s position and stature in society. He was indeed a virtuous and righteous human being and though he left our school once we were promoted to the mid-school, he will always have a special position in my heart.
