Assumption: (Noun) /əˈsʌm(p)ʃ(ə)n/

Definition:

Something that you think is true although you have no definite proof.

Synonyms: 

Acceptance, Presumption, Hypothesis.

Collocations: 

With adjective: basic/certain/different/false/fundamental/general/implicit/reasonable/underlying assumption.

Example:

For IELTS Speaking:
