Writing: The Writing section of the IELTS General test evaluates your English writing ability. It consists of 2 writing tasks. In the first task, you will be asked to write a letter in 150 words, and in the second task, you will be asked to write an essay in not less than 250 words. You will be given 60 minutes to complete the task.

Listening: The Listening section is designed to evaluate your listening skills. It consists of 4 sections. An audio recording will be played in each section. Based on what you hear, you are expected to answer 40 questions in 30 minutes,

Speaking: Speaking is divided into 3 sections. In the first part, you are asked basic information about yourself and your hobbies, childhood, job, etc. In the second and third parts, you will be given a cue card, on which you will be expected to speak for 2-3 minutes, and asked follow-up questions on the same. This section is for 12-14 minutes.
