One of the most apparent characteristics of the 21 st century is a strong connection between countries, in terms of culture and economy. Many people are worried that this may lead to the extinction of countries’ identities. I hold a strong belief and disagree with this statement. In the next few paragraphs, I will explain my perspective in detail.
On the path to establishing a closer connection with the outside world, a country does not necessarily disregard its culture, which is a precious asset. It not only allows a nation to distinguish itself from the rest of the world, but an indigenous culture also plays many more crucial roles such as attracting foreign visitors, developing tourism industry and yielding high revenue. The reason partly lies in the fact that for many tourists, a country’s cultural and historical background is one of the most important criteria in choosing a destination for visiting. For instance, thousands of people want to pay a visit to Japan or Thailand just for the unique Japanese tea culture or gorgeous architecture of Thai temples.
On seeing this, many countries have put great effort into protecting their cultural identities, to feature in the list of most popular destinations. It is not fallible to say that an increase in tourism motivates countries to preserve their cultural heritage. In some countries, the native people have become more accustomed to exotic cultures. It reflects the combined effects of the integration of foreign cultures, both through media and direct business interaction. For example, over time, Western culture has permeated into many Asian countries, creating a newer fusion of both.
Although people think that some other elements of culture, such as customs, tradition or taboos might die out over time, tourism and other interactive activities are always there to encourage cultural conservation.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that increased interaction between countries in the domains of business and culture can strengthen the identities of countries involved.

Technological advancements have made jumbo strides in the last few years and the threshold of possibilities have been repudiated each time when it was confined to a bandwidth. The most noteworthy out of all the spaces was the business and especially, the international business and worldwide trading to which, some people put forth the notion that it could impact the native cultural aspects of countries. I am in contrariety to it as I feel it is the other way around. In the forthcoming paragraphs, this essay elucidates the same.
Undoubtedly, international relations owing to the international business partnership among countries, have flourished and proliferated. The joint venture programmes among various countries, the foreign investment of one nation in another one, the export and import of resources and mutual trading have grown and promulgated in untrammelled capacities. This has indeed led to the development of the cultural heritage of countries. The traditions of a country that were once unbeknownst to others are very much main streams now, thanks to the prospering relationship of countries. Foreign delegates visiting a nation to represent them get to know a lot about the traditional richness of the country and in the pace of enthralment tend to spread words about the same as customary heritage has lured and enchanted the human race since time immemorial and getting to know one makes one ebullient. In this context, it is in fact a positive consideration in promoting its culture by a nation and in return, getting to know other cultures too.
The major driving force apart from a geographical terrain that one gets to behold and amuse themselves by while travelling to a different country, the local rituals and heritage are what one seems to be most frenzied about. The economy of a country and several other dynamics that come along with travelling and tourism is generally pumped by a traditional peculiarity of a nation. In India, for instance, Rishikesh has always been a major hubspot for foreigners to witness the cultural fragrance and nuance of spirituality. Owing to this, India always tries to keep up with its idiosyncrasy in this aspect. Hence, cultural preservation soars high in the purview of economic influx and setting a distinctive repute on the world map.
Though one may argue that due to the burgeoning relationship between two countries, a cultural semblance of a nation could be put at stake, however, the world has only been seeing a beautiful gradation of cultural diversity so far embracing all the cultures. Hence, the extinction of heritage is unquestionable.
Thus, It may be concluded that growing international businesses and relationships, culture and traditions blossom and prosper beautifully and don’t get thwarted.
