(Where):
I’m going to tell you about a new skyscraper located at the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, which is called Landmark 81, and it’s currently the highest building in Southeast Asia, with 81 floors. I got to know this building when I moved to Ho Chi Minh City for my university life.
(How you get there):
It is very easy to get to the building since public transport is always available. I usually take the bus, which drops me off directly at the building.
(What it looks like)
The bottom half of the tower is filled with shopping malls and advanced types of entertainment. The top half has offices for lease. They are highly-priced due to the location and views, which makes them very desirable. It is one of the highest skyscrapers in the city, but it also possesses an eye-catching architectural design, which is likely to absorb anyone’s attention. The original design of this tower is inspired by bamboo trees, which symbolizes the Vietnamese people’s solidarity and strength.
(explain why you like this place and often go there)
I have fallen for the design of this tower since it stands out. Recently, it has become a famous landmark in the city. Moreover, meeting friends is just a piece of cake thanks to its exotic appearance. There are lively bars, restaurants on the 77th floor, which will give you a magnificent view. As there are no walls, you can enjoy the city in any direction. I would highly recommend anyone who visits this tower to go there and give it a try.

Sample Answer 2
Since I am a resident of a developing nation, I consistently see a myriad of infrastructural projects that are meant to improve the Indian economy. The government is always ready to construct new recreational centres as well as public places in the fast-paced contemporary era to offer a quality experience to the citizens. However, I would like to mention a specific place that got inaugurated recently. It is a water amusement park that is located near my house. I can visit here just by walking as it is nearby.
The construction has been going on for a few years now. And, it really took a lot of time to build the park. I gravitated towards this place due to an array of positive reviews that I heard from my family members and friends. Also, I had read a review in the newspaper as well. It clearly mentioned that this place was one of the best spots to rejuvenate and relax.
From the outside, the building looks massive and opulent. When you step inside, you will find a ticket counter on the right-hand side, which is usually crowded. Just a few steps away, there is a huge hall filled with eateries. You can find a variety of stalls and shops here, selling a myriad of things, including candies, ice cream, popcorn, cold drinks, and more. And then, there is a separate room with a swimming pool in it. There is a huge garden where you can take a sunbath and relax for a while. Just beside the garden, you will find a huge water slide with a swimming pool attached to it. Towards the end of the park, there are several swings.
The bottom half of the tower is filled with shopping malls and advanced types of entertainment. The top half has offices for lease. They are highly priced due to the location and views, making them very desirable. It is one of the highest skyscrapers in the city, but it also possesses an eye-catching architectural design, which is likely to absorb anyone’s attention. The original design of this tower is inspired by bamboo trees, which symbolizes the Vietnamese people’s solidarity and strength.
I was extremely thrilled when I got to know something as exquisite as a water park was to be available for the general public shortly. Since I am a water enthusiast, this was the ideal place for me to enjoy. The water park has a lot of amusements, such as wave pools, thrill rides, eatable counters, and much more. One of the best things about this park is that everything here is quite affordable. So, one doesn’t get disheartened with any hefty amount.

Speaking Part 3 Questions:
1. Which is more important: preserving old buildings or building new ones?
Both are equally important. We have to continuously renew our construction methodologies and ensure that we are on par with other developed nations. Old buildings must be preserved as well. But there must be a valid reason for preserving them. Also, there should be sufficient funds to maintain the building.
2. What kinds of public buildings do people like to visit in your country?
It varies from person to person. Children like to visit buildings like the planetarium and libraries while adults want to visit places of entertainment like cinema halls and shopping malls. Shopping malls are becoming increasingly popular because of the number of services they offer under one roof.
3. What is most important for a public building: design, location, or facilities?
If I were to rank them, location comes first. Facilities and design follow it. People choose to visit malls that are in a prime location. Only then do people look for the facilities offered. The design does matter, but it is not a critical factor. A building with a poor design but located in a good location will undoubtedly thrive.
4. Do you think the appearance of a building is important?
Appearances don’t matter at all. People look for the services that a building will offer despite it having a poor appearance. For example, some banks have a pathetic building, but they are crowded at peak banking hours because of their services.
5. What buildings do young people and old people like in your country?
Young people are attracted to malls and cinema theatres. They generally choose places which entertain them well. Older people tend to go to places of religious importance like temples.
6. What measures should be taken to deal with damage to public buildings?
People should be conscious when it comes to using public buildings. For example, when they visit a public building like a palace, they should be careful not to scribble on the walls. Also, the government should allocate funds for the maintenance of these buildings.
